Several years ago while driving toward Glen Rose Texas I encountered this abandoned structure. I have visited it several times since then. I always wonder what it might have been in its glory days. Perhaps a restaurant or even a residence belonging to an eccentric individual. I have not been able to find any information about it on line. I should really talk to a local to get the scoop.
It looks same as it did when I first saw it many years ago. The roof is long gone and the brick walls remain in decent condition. The brick and mortar colors have held up quite well. Its an interesting structure for sure with wood, brick and stone accents - the kind that is not easy to find these days.
I really wonder what it looked like back then.
